can a 1 year old get hurt but falling out of the crib?
my aunt is worried her daughter will get hurt if she learns how to climb out of her crib? if she hits her head when she falls can she get hurt? what would happen?

Yes, I know a girl who fell out of her crib at about a year and a half. She was a perfectly healthy child until then when she suffered major brain damage. She is now disabled in a wheelchair.
once a child is able to climb out of her crib it's time to move them to a bed.
child could break a limb, fracture her skull, or more likely just cause a rainbow of bruises that is embarrassing for mummy!!

well yea she'd get hurt but as in it hurts like stubbing your toe but no serious injuries unless theres spikey needles under the crib and your just not telling us :P
You should get a crib cover its like a dome that goes above the crib so the baby cant escape
Yes, of course she could get hurt. Thats a long fall for someone who is only like 2 feet tall.
