What are your thoughts on child safe, all natural and non-to
A friend of mine recently told me about nail polish and remover that is all natural and non-toxic for kids. I've read about about Piggy Paint and Hopscotch Kids nail polishes online, but was wondering what your thoughts are as parents. I'm not quite sure what I think about it myself...lol

Honestly, I think it's a bit silly. It's a good idea in theory, but realistically what is a little regular nail polish going to do to a child? As long as the child isn't drinking the nail polish it isn't going to hurt them! Getting one or two chips of paint in their mouth from sucking on their finger is going to do nothing to them. It is pretty expensive too. $8 or so for a little bottle is ridiculous.
I don't like nail polish on little girls. It's in the same category as makeup to me and it just doesn't look right on a child.
I think the product you mention sounds like a good idea though. A lot of little girls do want to use nail polish so that's a good way to keep them safe from harsh chemicals.

i dont see a problem with it. i am completely against dressing kids up like adults and treating them like adults and i still think its okay. its not like your smearing their face with makeup, its a little color on their nails, they think it looks cool and pretty. its not meant to make them look sexual, so i dont see anything too adult about it. just use kid friendly colors, like no black or bright red. if the child wants to, why not?
i wouldnt let my daughter use it.
i dont think painting a little girls nails is a bad thing, they like to be pretty like mommy, and that is ok, as long as the parent or adult is the one putting it on them.
but as for letting them have their own no way! i dont care if it is safe and toxin free it is still paint.

I think its a good idea, the less toxins the better. However that is not an excuse to overload on makeup, I think it should be worn at a certain age, whilst minor experimentation is acceptable.
Well, it is some sort of paint isn't it.
Nail polish isn't appropriate on children.

what about all of the other chemicals & poisons you will introduce her to in her first year of life. paint her toenails or just don't use it.
