Is it ok for my 1 yr old to eat cashews she realy likes them

Definitely NOT OK! Children cannot eat any kind of nuts until they are 3 years old. It is a choking hazard because they usually don't have all their teeth in and if they do they are not capable of chewing them all the way yet. It is also very likely that she could be allergic to nuts and if she isn't yet, eating them too soon can cause her to have an allergy to them for the rest of her life. Even though it may seem like she is handling them just fine it only takes one time for her to choke so it is better to not take the chance. Some other things she shouldn't eat until she is 3 are:

- Pretzels

- Popcorn

- Gum

You can't just give your kid everything because "they like it".

I don't think so. She could choke. But if you pre-chew it for her and make it really not hard and little, then she can eat it.

1) make sure she isn't allergic
2) make sure she doesn't choke

Still not sure it's a good idea, but keep those two in mind with any small food (especially things like nuts, with allergy potential)

I would say no. my 18 month old still doesn't eat nuts. They're just too hard to chew very well and it's a choking hazard.

probably not she could easily choke find something else she likes! (thats not so hard)
