parents... how do you bounce back from your down days?

Rap music and salads and talking to my friends.

By knowing that I always do bounce back and have bounced back from much worse with far lesser resources. Having a rough and lonely childhood makes me pretty optimistic as an adult. Children are much more constrained about what they can do and adults have so many more choices. Where there's a will, there's a way, and if I don't like how things are going, I can come up with some plausible exit strategy.

I bounce back by knowing that the bad day is behind me.. (: I actually don't have too many down days now that my daughter is here. I know it sounds cheesy but she makes a bad day, PERFECT when I finally get to spend time with her after working all day. Shes the light of my life.. so, my answer is.. Spending time with my daughter makes me bounce back! (:

I remind myself that everyone in my home seems to pick up on my attitude and adopt it as their own. When I'm upbeat the whole family is. And when I'm down the whole family seems to feel that too. So, since I want my kids to be happy, I buck up and try to have a great day! It almost always works. I find it easier to do things for others than it is to do them for myself.

I just try to get in a positive mindset and don't dwell on my issues from the previous day.
