Getting in trouble for this really?
This morning i went to the store to get a few things and my mom asked me to bring something....
she thinks she may be pregnant. I told her i didn't feel comfortable buying a test. esp where the place i worked at i went to that store. I told her on the phone. she got mad at me and she said I "have to wait till my father gets home" she also said i can forget about the thanksgiving party at my cousins. why am i in trouble?

answer:
She's probably stressed about the possible pregnancy--let it blow over and talk to her later in the day. She'd probably be more likely to reason with you.
(You shouldn't have to get the test if you don't feel comfortable doing so.)

sorry, but i am assuming you are over 16 and are a young adult if you are working and out there by yourself. You should have done this favor for your mother. I know teens can't get past the world revolves around them, but this may be a stressfull time for your mom and you could have thought about her and not yourself. You could have stopped somewhere else and got it. You are in trouble because you didn't listen and help your mom. I do agree that she's over-reacting and will calm down, but you need to help out your family as well. She supports you obviously and pays for your food, shelter, water, and probably a ton of other things. Why can't you do this for her?

I worked as a cashier at a grocery store part time for a while. I could not have told you what any of my customers bought. I scanned it and put it in the bag, and waited for them to pay me. Nobody cares what you are buying.
You should have just bought the test.

Solution would have been to buy it in a different town. Feel your concerns were very real. Odds boss might hear inner store gossip very high.
She's the one who maybe got herself preggers...she's the one who should take responsibility and get her own test. There's no reason you should have to.
shes over reacting probably
