Ever since my kids saw Toy Story 3 they have been wanting to

how do I explain to them that that's not what daycare is really like?

Almost cry? No. I just cried. When he pulled Woody back as that little girl reached out for him, a tear just came rolling down my cheek.

UM...there's no "almost" about it. I bawled like a little bish. The conveyor belt scene killed me...that and when Andy drops them off at the end...**sniff** **sniff*** I'm almost going to cry right now!

And I don't know about the other...My son GOES to daycare and he's all concerned now that we can't donate any of his old toys because the bad kids will break them...

I keep trying to explain that he knows all the kids in daycare...but now he seems to be convinced that there's some other room somewhere with bad kids that break stuff.

I totally did cry when I saw that. I was in the beginning of my pregnancy and I was super overemotional about everything. I absolutely bawled.

as for how to tell your kids about daycare, I wouldn't know. I've never been to daycare, so honestly I don't know what it's like.

Tell them it's just a movie.

They make up stuff to get money.

Tell them that daycare is not that fun cause they make you take NAPS, and they have ugly and old toys.

And if they want to play with someone, to go and play with a neighbor/family member or something.

Also tell them that he/she has better toys than them.

We just watched TS3 this weekend. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long long time. lol Loved it!

BQ-Yes, I cried when Andy gave Bonnie all his toys.

As for explaining that that isn't really what daycare is like? Good luck...until they see it for real, they prob won't believe it.
