stay at home moms, whats youre schedule like?
I have a 21 month old daughter and I am also 22 weeks pregnant. I'm starting to feel bad everytime I leave her to play by her self or put the tv on so I can get things done. Not to metion standing to clean makes my legs turn purple and hurt. What do you during the day to keep you're kids busy while trying to get things done? Also we eat together breakfast lunch and dinner so I can't clean while she eats.
answer:
Is she at the stage yet where she wants to 'help' you clean? If so you can give her a spray bottle with just water and a washcloth and have her 'wash' the windows or the counter top while you clean nearby. She could fold socks while you fold the rest of the laundry. She could hold the dust pan when you sweep. Give her simple jobs that make her feel important but still keep her busy and out of your way a little. I do this with my 4 year old now but he has known how to unload the dishwasher since he was 2 years old.
I use nap times to get my work done
I have a 10 month old and I'm 11 weeks pregnant so luckily I'm not at a stage were I'm feeling the effects of the pregnancy.
When I have to get things done I take him around the house with me so he plays in his cot whilst I clean the bedroom and in the lounge or in the high chair in the kitchen when I clean in there
Dont feel bad - if we sat down all day with our children we wouldnt get anything done!

You'll have to wait til they get back from Starbucks socializing with other SAHMs... Right before they yell at their husbands who have been at work all day, complaining about how hard their lives are.
I am 25 months pregnant with a 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old, so they sometimes they play with each other until they start fighting or something. And as long as your not puting the tv on the time for her to watch, I personally think some time watching tv escpecially if its something that helps them learn something like abc's or colors or something its not to bad, and I also think its good for a kid to play by itself once in awhile, so they can become somewhat independent and grow up not having to always depend on someone else to entertain them. But of course I dont mean all the time cuz I think parents playing with their kids is the most important, its just good to have a good balance. My biggest problem now is trying to get one on one time with each of my childern which I think is important as well. My kids do like to help me clean, maybe get your daughter a little play broom or vacumm, my kids just love that when I'm vacuumming. Good Luck!!
