babysitting dues; how much should i get?

ok first of all, i don't know what the title thingy means, but it sounds cool. second of all, how much should i be paid today if im babysitting my neighbors from 10:50 to 1:15, im 14, the kids are 10ish and 3ish, and im pretty sure the little one would rather be with a snake than me. my mom says i should always go for like 10$ an hour, but, i mean, im a 14 year old girl, and i need some moolahh. any suggestions? i usually just take what the mom gives me, and im to nice to ask for more. this totally sucks and i dont wanna be cheated out....... i guess.... ugghhhhhhh sometimes i wish i were a liiiittle bit meaner.

ok $10 an hour is way to much for me to ever pay for a teenager to babysit my children. We pay $5/hour and that is with 2 kids ages 6 and 5. The 10 year old doesnt really need you to watch her to closely. So if I was you I would be happy with what you get! We left our kids with our normal teenage babysitter. she had them from 6-2 and she recieved $40 and she loves to baby sit for us because we pay her more than anyone else will. Most parents around my area (S. IL) only pay max $20 for a time slot where we paid her $40.

I think $10.00 an hour is reasonable. Most part time jobs only pay $7.25 in my area since that is minimum wage here.

well thats pretty good, and at ur age u might not be able to get a real job yet.. so $30 for the day isnt that bad and ur only 14 so u dont need all kinds of money

umm, u shouldnt be getting 10 an hr bcuz ur only 14. maybe u should nt babysit. u should get a few bucks an hr all ur doing is watching them.
