Why are middle school kids in my area so disrespectful?

Like today I was walking home after playing badminton with friends. Near the library I met like 5-6 girls that seem like are in middle school. They really immature. One of the just came up to me and said you forgot your hat, it wasn't mine. Anyways and that hat happens to be wet.....then i just stared at her in a really mean way and then another girl ask my name and i was like YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW!... Then they just walked away...
This is not the first time, there has been a few times already. Like lil 7-8 graders trying to pick a fight with me?? Btw I'm a sophomore in High School.. and I really never gets into fights... But these middle school kids are getting on my nerves?

Their Spoiled Brats! I have 1 of them in 5th grade, 1 that's 2, and 1 thats 3 months. My 5th grader is going thru puberty, shes spoiled and that =brat.

Because they are brats and the upbringing by their parents is what causes it.

i swear kids get worse every day.
last year when i was in my last year of high school, this kid from junior school came over and he didn't look more than 10, and started swearing at me. and i was like...what is he on about?
there isn't much you can actually do, cause they are basically still kids.
the best thing is to ignore them and hope that they will get bored soon.

Up bringing from parents, it could also be they have friends that are like that so the other girls want to fit into a crowd of friends... Remember it takes a big man to pick a fight, but it takes a bigger man to walk away from one...

I am in Middle School and they have older kids picking on them all the time so they figure if they do it back, the older kids won't be able to bother them anymore. They're just looking for attention and if you just be the mature one and don't do anything rude, they will get a clue. So just make sure you aren't mean and THEY won't be mean and they'll leave you alone.

ugh my younger sisters are twin 12 year olds, middle school age is the most obnoxious age there is. Its because they think they are grown suddenly and know better than everyone around them, but really they just look stupid. Just laugh and walk away.
