He is having his exam in next month. He keeps getting text messages and calls. I do not know how to get cell back from him.

If your son had a kajeet phone you could just log into your account online and completely turn OFF his ability to send/recieve calls and texts for a brief period of time. (or a long one, depending on his attitude and the results of the exam!) lol I encourage you to look into getting him a kajeet phone and getting rid of the other one. You'll have so much more control of him with a kajeet! PLUS, it's probably cheaper than what you're paying now.

put on a rule, get tough, make him study for 2 hours, and tell him shut off his Phone, and take the cell phone away from him, for 2 hours, and when he is done doing his studies, , then he gets the cell phone back, each night, you and him should do this, it teaches him, number 1 respect, and number 2, it teaches him, that his mother is his friend and to be trustworthy of you, IF YOU GIVE IT BACK , ONLY 2 HOURS YOU WOULD HAVE THE PHONE, AND THEN PROMISE YOU WOULD GIVE IT BACK, THE TEXT MESSAGES AND ALL THAT OTHER JUNK CAN WAIT, UNTIL HE IS DONE WITH HIS STUDIES, AND BE TOUGH ABOUT IT, NOT SO SEVERE TOUGH, BUT IT WOULD HELP

You don't have to completely take away is phone. By taking his phone away you are just making him shut down. He will only study and pass the exam if he wants too. Most phone company's will let you "turn off" texting and calls between certain hours. You can block text and calls between like 5pm and 8pm and during that time help him study.

I think, deactivating without his knowledge will make him annoyed, content from pregnancy question and answersRenting&RealEstate

Instead... explain him that.. he has exam... he has to concentrate,

and tell him that, for his good, with his permission, you are deactivating,

and promise him that once the exam is over, it will be activated.

Tell him that he can only read a certain amount of texts/get a certain amount of calls and send a certain amount of texts/calls until the exams or something like that. You're the parent, you have the authority.

spare the rod spoil the child--> if ur kid is below 12...
go for 'NO TALK WITH U UNTIL U LISTEN POLICY'--> if ur kid is above 13... for this everybody in the house should co=operate.. dun even talk to him lik 'pl come n take ur dinner baeta' teen agers want attention.. if u deprive him of tat in home he'll understand wat u mean to convey him

You are the parent, you pay the bill, you are concerned about his grades, so you just TAKE the cell away from him. To bad kid, you will not die if you don't have a cell phone attached to you.

there is litteraly no nice way to do it
so your either going to have to take it away from him
or call the company to disactivate his phone
by the way your a good parent :)

umm your the parent duh take it away tell him he can not have it back until after the exam and only then if he does well! a cell phone is a privilege not a right.

Either take the phone away or cancel the service.

Is it really that hard to figure out?

honestly, just sit down and talk to him. sit him down and jsut say: if u dont ace that test your not going to be able to keep tht phone.. and if u want just take the fone whenever he studies

how old is your son?..Take it way from him when he has an exam and tell him he can have it afterwords.

stop his cell phone service?
