Please answer this query about these two names?
Do you like these names Primrose & Florentine? I simply adore them however nobody seems to share my love for them, so I was wondering whether anyone likes these names or like with my family they hate them.

Primrose is an attractive word, but maybe not one I'd use for a first name, personally. Florentine is quite different and interesting, again maybe not one I'd use (because it rhymes with quarantine), but I think it would be a fantastic character name, and I do like the nickname Flo. So I'd say, yes I do like these names, but they might not be my first choices when naming my own children that will have to grow up with them forever.

i think they are beautiful and not popular either which is cool.
All i can say is what? and why? that is like putting an instant target on a kids back and a life full of laughter (and not with them). Plus, could imagine having to learn to spell those, come on don't be that mean! Get a dog, cat, or fish and name them that!
Old victorian names. Fodder for endless teasing nowadays.
Primrose is kind of cute, but I really don't like Florentine.
Well I'm not really into the first name but Florentine kind of sounds good to me. How about flora or floressa instead if you're interested, if not then ok. Anyway I hope I helped you or something, take care :)_
It really depends on what the full name would be, but i would personally avoid Florentine...Primrose would be lovely with an appropriately classic middle name.

i think primrose is a beutiful name but i would refuse to call anyone florentine. sorry, its a terrible name. u shouldnt base ur choices on what others think, if u like these names then stick to them, what others think doesnt matter, only what u think does:)
I don't like the names because they sound like a hundred year old granny, they're too old fashioned. I normally like old fashioned names but they take it too far, but I prefer Florentine because then you can shorten it to Flora which isn't that bad.

Please dont name your children Primrose and Florentine. Just a fore warning they will have the mickey taken out of them. Im not saying you have children or you are having them but it's just a bit of advice.
I think they're..... different. I like them. (: My great-grandfather's name was Florentine (Yeah, my grandfather, not grandmother.. LOL.) . But, yes, I do love both names, but I would consider them more as Guilty Pleasure names. (:
No offence, but they're old people names. I dont like them.

I'm not big on Primrose becaues it has "Prim" in it, but Florentine is pretty, I just prefer Florence as it's my cousin's daughter's middle name.
