What do you do when your sad?
And dont say like obvious things like listening to music. im asking what helps when your really really sad. like sobbing and thinking about hurting yourself sad?

I hate feeling sad, the few things that help me out the most would be:
1. Writing it all out, write everything you are feeling out on a piece of paper, and just finish it, it helps me a lot.
2. Take a REALLY hot shower, for me, it helps a lot, I just sit in the shower and think, when I'm done I USUALLY Feel a lot better.
3. Write a poem, write a poem, whether it's about how you feel, or something else, write it, chances are it will sound good, and remember poems don't HAVE to rhyme. Careers_Employment pregnancy.yifei8.netParenting
4. Find new music, it will keep you entertained, like maybe find a playlist full of music that will help you feel a lot better than what you already feel or what your music you have now will make you feel.
5. Cry, scream, yell, I was mad earlier actually, it helped a lot. I was also sad. But it helped a lot.
I was mad and took a shower today, it helped the most.

The best answer is to think of a way to CHANGE the situation that's making you sad, and take action to do it. If it's something that you absolutely can't change, then try to change your reaction to it. Tell yourself the one good thing about it, or that it could be worse if... , or that, compared to nuclear war or your pet dying or [substitute the worst thing you could possibly think of], that this is handle-able, and that you CAN handle it. Think of the thing that used to make you happy (which has changed), and then plan to do something in your life to make something as close to that be again.
Smaller things to do when you're sad: Talk to a friend or sibling or parent / Take a walk in nature / Write in your diary or write a poem or story or song / Get lost in a book / Think of the positive things in your life / Make someone ELSE happy.

ummm I do crazy stuff like
-order papers to change my name and buy maps and plan to run far away
-go for a few scream runs. you take a deep breath and scream as loud as you can and run while you scream. When you run out of air (like need to take a breath to continue screaming) you have to stop running. and then walk back, start at the same place then mark where you stop everytime. When you've beat your record you celebrate!! sad mood gone (: its like magic!
-I get my best friend and he and I will go on car trips like leave the state car trips
-masturbate...if I don't feel like being around people....and have sex if I do.
-I read the 100 things to do in Wall Mart list and then go do my current favorites until I get kicked out of wall mart
-and if its like really bad I drive as far as my budget will allow me (gas wise) toward Boston listening to Taylor Swift crying the whole way
-umm one time my bff said we should go push down rotting trees. it was pretty thrilling but he and I both had poision oak for like a week so we had to go get kicked out of Wall Mart again to make ourselves feel better about the poisoned oak. lol

It's weird, but I calm right down if someone rubs my back. Just like, if they out their hand on my back and go in circles lol. It relaxes me so much. My mom used to do that when I was falling asleep until I was like five, from when i was a baby so I think that's why.
Also if I'm sobbing really hard, a glass of water helps. Mostly because you have to calm yourself down enough to be able to swallow the water.

Well, when I'm really sad I will cry a lot. I will just sit in my room, focus on one thing that makes me sad, and just cry and feel sorry for myself. Then, I will start to like the feeling of crying, I will try to make myself cry harder. Then I will go and stare in the mirror, just to see my red puffy face. pregnancy question and answers

I'll usually get drunk and then go and party. I'll party and drink every night on the weekends and sometimes during school for weeks. Then, finally, I'll get around to dealing with things and everything will come crashing down. I'll go and sit in my shower fully clothed, turn on some warm water, blast sad songs, and cry.
It's probably not the best way to deal with problems, but it works.
